Pine Hills Tibetan Terriers
Other Tibetan terriers and about us
![]()
January 12th 2009
We are now breeding two of our TT girls for spring puppies that will be ready in May.
Reservations are being taken now.
![]()
"Roo" and "Sadie"
Are available to the perfect home and need.
If for some reason you can't do a puppy and need an older TT we will place "Roo" or "Sadie"; they are 10 months old.
Both brother and sister are sable with white markings and beautiful. Also both are at the top of the scale in size for Tibetan Terrier standards and we like that. "Roo" is show quality, just amazing in every way. "Sadie" smiles at you when you get her excited, a trait I have watched passed on for fifteen years from Great Grandmother to Grandmother to Mother to Daughter. The first time I saw a TT smile at me I thought she was growling at me, so funny, she smiled on command and sneezed on command too.
Call or email us and we will email you a link to their video along with some new photos.

Roo at eight weeks.

Sissy's little girl #1
Pure Love Here.

What a face!
Will give you a kiss if you ask for one.
Little girl of Sissy's. She is the classic type TT girl, will be medium in size, between 14 and 15 inches tall and 17 to 19 pounds full grown, have a natural slim body frame and perfect show quality conformation, she comes from a long line of champions.
She has great agility and carries herself gracefully and with confidence. Natural born manners that you would not believe if you did not see if for yourself. She will never wonder off from home as taking care of the house and her people or person will be her job and she will never leave her post; ever. Would be great for Therapy work as her Great Grandmother was. "Sissy's" Great Grandmother was certified for disposition (CD) and a Therapy worker "Sissy" comes from a long line of Champion TT's with many certified for disposition and it shows. Well you get the message, we love this girl and you would too; I guarantee it. A person needing a companion that will live a life with you and not just follow you. The passion this little girl has in her heart will never cease to amaze you in the twenty years which is what I estimate her life span will be.
Every once and a while I have to say it, if this little girl is right for you, lucky you.
This girl is a gift to life. Simply the most loving, intuitive and cheerful Tibetan Terrier I have ever raised.
Amazing!
*****
Sissy's little girl #2
"Molly II"
Off to her loving home.
Your second heartbeat.
The lap dog you'll forget is there.
Just as precious as they come. I believe this is what the Monks had in mind for perfection.

Miniature Tibetan Terrier?
Little gems I call them.

We have had five in twelve years from the same bloodline and her brother will be 35 pounds and her sister 20+? "Molly II" is now at six months old only 11 inches tall and 11 inches long. She will never get any bigger.
Here we have one of the smallest TT girls you will ever find. She will stay this way for life. 11 inches tall and 12 pounds tops. This is the fifth little girl we have had like this in twelve years, all from the same bloodline. They just come about from time to time.
*****
Sissy's little boy #1
"Archie II" Off to his loving home.

Bad hair day.

A big boy just like his dad "Archie", he will reach 30 pounds or more and 17 inches tall, be a leader and a charmer just like dad. He is supper playful and a big lover.
If you jog or mountain climb then here you go, take Archie.

Beginning of Pine Hills Tibetan Terrier Archives of past litters.
August 2000 to August 2006
Photos and a breeders Descriptions can help you better understand the world of Tibetan Terriers.
Body styles, Colors and Sizes differ within their own standards more in this breed than any other breed of domestic canine.
In it you will find about four sizes and body styles and many colors and combinations of colors.
But most of all are all the personalities.
Sometimes referred to as the Little People Of Tibet, Tibetan Terriers have many different personalities. Even in the same litter or group you can have different distinct personalities that sometimes make you wonder, where did you come from? You may notice that a puppy reminds you of their grandmother while no other puppy has reminded you of her before or since. The Tibetan Terrier will make you wonder just how much they really know and understand.
On this page are descriptions
given each puppy raised at Pine Hills at the time they where here waiting for adoption and
in my
midst. In the same manner we describe puppies we have ready for adoption, descriptions
were given to each of our past puppies. This is done using experience and by
given notice to the recounting puppies born and raised here the past 1 to 8 years. One fact remains the
same for all TT's. They are their own little person, born with a personality all
their own, and you can not change that. Not that you would ever want too. This
is what makes living along side of a Tibetan Terrier so rewarding and having more then one
living with you that much more
interesting. No amount of interaction with people or other animals will ever
really change who they are deep down. In whatever fashion they live they are always
living for your approval and will put you first, this is the bond; you have to love that.
This is also the reason we have a life time take back policy for any reason what
so ever. We are best at matching TT's to people and if for any reason this union
has to be broken we will step in to insure that the next home will be a perfect
match again. On one occasion the perfect replacement took us three years to find
and we were compelled to let her go, we had too, that is why it is called
perfect. Her new placement was even better than being with us. This is one
reason we keep our list of descriptions on our site for years. Study them and
try to picture which one would be the perfect personality for your lifestyle and
try to find your match. The Tibetan Terriers are "The Little People Of
Tibet" and we love to help find your companion. This will always work out
better than just buying a pet.
Enjoy your visit to our puppy archives and let us know when we can help you.

New Litter: DOB 08/14/06
Here is a brave and outgoing TT boy. He struts around his part of the house like he is always going somewhere. He is just a pup, as of yet he doesn’t have too many places to go. He is so funny, he is a beautiful Tibetan; enjoy!
"Little Whispers" Boy #1 Off to his loving home.
Photos at 4 weeks old.
Photos at 8 weeks and 4 days old.

This boy is intelligent, while outgoing, playful and courageous. Intelligent and outgoingness does not always come together. Many times the smarter they are the more reserved they can be. Being intelligent most often means great manners and this boy will have natural good manners. The best companion anyone could want.

Here he goes playing.

***

The photo above shows his true coat color and brown eyes. The sun on these photos can make them look green but they are vary much dark brown like Tibetan Terriers eyes should be.

The Photos above show how straight he carries himself, vary nice.

Look at those hairy little Snow Shoe feet.
Ladies and gentlemen we are proud as can be to be able to offer you such quality as this boy. We have so many great breeder boys in our program we don't have to keep back any more breeder and show quality puppies like this one here. This boys father turned 10 years old last May and will continue to breed until he is 15 - 17 - 18, who knows. We have had 18 year old boys sire a litter for us, it is not unusual.
Besides that, this boys personality is the best. I already know what he will be like as a four year old adult and a better friend you will never find.
Now he just needs some extraordinary people to love him and let him do his thing.

"Little Whispers" Boy #2 Off to his loving home to see Indy.
This Boy is going to be new friends with "Indy", A girl born here the 4 of July in 2005. It was time to get "Indy" a playmate. They are going to have oodles of fun.

What's not to love, he is such a doll and both brothers personalities are splendid.

New litter: Pine Hills Precious, DOB 12/25/05
Our Christmas puppies, like all litters they come in the middle of the night. What a nice Christmas morning having all the new babies.
This litter was planed three years ago and was a great success. They are everything we thought they would be when selecting the breeding pair years ago when the parents were just puppies.
Our new litter of 6 boys and 1 girl.
9 day old photos with the girl in front.

Above is her glamour photo.
During the photo shoot I rubbed her belly and she went to sleep.

She is remarkable and will be your best friend.
Unmatched loyalty and allegiance to you.

A vary sweet girl that was smart from the start and likes to cuddle. She loves to be included in your everything.
A big lover that will always know your emotional state and act accordingly.
This girl will walk next to you in life as an equal and be ready for anything.
******
Boy # 1.
Off to his loving home.

Friendly pup and with two of his other brothers the largest of the bunch. He will reach 16.1/2 to 17 inches in four years, weigh 25 to 30 pounds, broad, solid and able to leap tall places in a single bound. If not he will climb it. Really, these big boys can be agile. My first TT was a big boy, a rescue of eight months old; change my life.
*****
Little Boy #2 Boy.
Staying one at Pine Hills.
Sable,

Perfect continuity in his sable color throughout his entire coat. What is black is black and white is white forever, the sable is beautiful.
Personality -
This boy is calm and loving, just like his photos show. He is a big boy, 12 and 1/2 pounds at 15 weeks. Sure to reach 28 to 30 pounds by the time he is four.
His loyalty and love will come naturally from his heart; he has natural born manners.
Tremendous manners and high intelligence.

New litter: "Whitney" - DOB 12/10/02
"Whitney" had two girls, one shown here. The other is available now but needs a specific type of caretaker, she is vary small and her type is rare in disposition as well as size. She is only the third of her kind in our history and thus far we have always kept them and never bred them. See "Pine Hills Mothers Molly" page link at the bottom of this page to get an idea. She is best suited for a shut in or a widower or single mature adult, she loves children but will flourish the most on the one on one relationship. Will always be able to fly as carry-on.

This is "Susie Q", a lovely girl already spoiled to treats from the table, taken in the most graceful manner I should mention, sleeping with somebody every night, receiving lots of kisses and love. All our pups are spoiled of course but we have already put our touch on "Susie Q" which some may not find admirable, like eating and sleeping with you and kissing you a bunch. That all right she is staying on with us. Unless someone needs her sweet touch in their life.

She is a, here I am, see me me me, totally in your life TT. Perfect for the stay at home person who wants allot of love and interactive attention from their TT.

"Goldie" is staying on at Pine Hills
After "Brownie" had her litter and "Goldie" was born, her grandmother "Lexie", who had not had a litter for a year, jumped in the box with her daughter "Brownie" and began to lactate, the both of them, mother and grandmother cared for and fed all the babies together for the next twelve weeks; the pups loved it.
"Goldie" at 8 weeks
"Goldie" growing up. Photos at seven months. Now she knows she's a TT.

This beautiful little girl is a lover of life and does willingly share her love to her company. She is so caring by nature. She is so gentle and loving. Intelligent is not a word to begin to explain her willfulness. I Just love her to pieces. She gets over on me all the time and I enjoy every moment of it. Clever? Oh yes. But she knows I know.
"Goldie" will be having a litter sometime in spring of 2003.

Extremely playful and courageous, trusting and loving, she does not know a stranger. You have to like her because she will insist on it. Her antics have no end. A more than average, cheerful, personality for a TT. A pup that is full of love and energy. We fell in love and I will always remember that.
She is one in a thousand it seems; I hope not.

Our Past litters continued.
DOB 9/12/2000
"Baby's" babies are here. DOB 9/12/2000 "Baby" has 6 pups and all are doing great. The mothers full name is "Pine Hills Baby All Smiles" She Smiles allot. We like the smiles and consider it special, like the TT's who like to carry things around in their mouth. You call them and they look around for something to bring you. The Story goes that on long caravans a TT would go back and retrieve fallen items to keep the caravan from having to stop. I'm sure this lore is founded on the premise that a TT offered this service and it was not expected of them. They just seen where they could be of help and did it. About one in ten of our TT's seem to have this trait. What a joy it is to say "you got a toy" they get all excited and proud.
