Hello: my name is "Max". My friends call me "The Lookout". When my friends and I are playing I always like to look for new things first.
This is my best friend, his name is "Theodore". His good friends call him "Lucky".
When
we are together we are two puppies who look for fun things to do.
One afternoon "Lucky" and I was having a nap under our favorite bush when "Lucky" must have heard something near by. He sat up and looked all around.
I was still trying to get in a little more sleep when I heard something too.
Remember,
they call me "The Lookout". I jumped to my feet because I thought I heard
the same noise, it sounding like it was coming from our favorite bush.
I
looked back at "Lucky" and asked him, "Did you just hear that noise
"Lucky"?"
I started to go over where "Lucky" was when he ran right pass me towards the bush.
"Lucky",
wait for me!" I Yelled.
I caught up with "Lucky" and asked him, "Do you think it is safe to just run up to the bush like that "Lucky"?" "We don’t even know what is in there." "You better let me look first "Lucky"! "No". Said "Lucky", "we should both go together."
" You're right "Lucky", we should sneak up on the bush nice and slow."
"Did
you hear that "lucky"?" "Yes "Max" I did!" Said Lucky.
"Wait "Lucky", I’ll Come with you!"
"Hurry up Max let’s go play somewhere else, that bush is too noisy." "Yes "Lucky" we can’t get any sleep there."
